Making his solo debut on Subconscious Audio, we welcome founding member, Dedman.

Having spent the last few years developing his DJ style and amassing releases on imprints including Rebel Music, Deep Within, and Skank’n’Bass, his high energy productions and DJ sets have gained him traction and support in local and international scenes. Hailing from an eclectic musical background, his precision engineered sound spans the breaths of the drum and bass spectrum.

‘Soft Focus’ wastes no time in showcasing what Dedman is all about with its raw tones, organic drums and reecy basslines. The raw elements are accompanied by a soulful vocal sample, glimpses of soft synths and swirling atmospherics - if you’re a stranger to dedman, this tune really defines his signature sound.

‘What You Think’ is a minimal anthem! Moody vocals, stripped back drums and wobbly chords, instantly captures the listener and expresses deep emotion - Dedman is certainly not deadpan here!
